November, the month of the most awaited festival – Diwali, is here. Holidays for almost all the sectors have been announced and along with that, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has mentioned some days when the banking operations will remain closed in the month of November.
Bank holidays vary in different states of the country and not every holiday mentioned will be observed by all banking companies. The festivals are also a key reason behind the Bank Holidays as per the state.
