The Indian Smartphone Company, Micromax recently announced that its new ‘In’ series is now officially arriving in India next month. The date is said to be November 3, 2020, Tuesday. This is the news after the company’s official Twitter handle released a short video mentioning the ‘In’ phone.

The news series follows the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision in order to make India self-sufficient in every aspect.

Homegrown smartphone maker Micromax on Friday (23 October) announced that it will be launching a range of smartphones under its new IN Mobiles brand on 3 November.

Micromax teased the audience with a teaser that it released on Twitter with a post that has a tagline “Aao Karein Thodi Cheeni Kum” taking at a dig at the Chinese smartphone makers.

(Cheeni = Sugar but, in the Indian context, Cheeni = Chinese).

The brand played really well with the words without directly offending anyone but also, clearing its motive to bring in the Series.

While Micromax hasn’t exposed which phones will be a part of the new series, the company is expected to launch the Micromax 1a alongside more phones.

Micromax intends to provide a ‘BONAFIDE Indian Choice’ to its consumers bashing the Chinese Mobile Phone Companies in the video.

Micromax Co-founder, Rahul Sharma, announced the bounce back of the homegrown company on Twitter on 16 October. It revealed then itself that the company will situate itself in the market with its new ‘In’ range of smartphones and will stand strong a competition to the Chinese counterparts.

While talking to Gadgets 360, Rahul Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of Micromax unveiled that the series will range between Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 25,000.

Sharma also told Gadgets 360, that the company started development of the ‘In’ series before the India-China tension. These smartphone models have been made in India, or rather put together in India. The In series phones will not have any bloat ware and no ads.
