CM Yogi Adityanath asked state to fill vacancies within 3 months

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday asked the officials to immediately inform him about the vacant posts in all departments and directed them to start the recruitment process in the next three months, according to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). The UP Chief Minister gave the guidelines in meeting held on Friday.

“With 3 lakh recruitments done so far, the recruitment process for the next three months will be transparent too and the appointment letters should be handed in the next six months,” UP CM Yogi Adityanath said. The CM conducted a meeting with the senior officials regarding the employments and he has also tweeted in this regard stating that he has asked all the officials to inform about the vacancies latest by Saturday.

As per the government’s data in 2017

1,37,253 people were recruited in the police department;
54,706 in basic education department;
8,556 in Health and Family welfare department and
28,622 under the National Health Mission program.
26,103 people were given jobs through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, (UPPCS)
16,708 through the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, (UPSSC)
14,000 candidates were selected in the Secondary Education Department
4,615 in the Higher Education Department until 2017.
