Maharashtra’s Covid tally has risen more than 80% wherein Mumbai and Thane have accounted for over 90% caseload of Tuesday (1,881).
After a period of five months, the city’s daily tally had crossed the mark of 1,000. On Tuesday, Thane and Navi Mumbai registered 153 and 108 Covid cases. Pune stands with 82 cases and a few districts in Maharashtra have under 20 cases.
The city saw a jump in the hospital admissions – Monday (54) and Tuesday (74). Currently, there are no hospital admissions in private hospitals, but there are 254 patients that are hospitalized out of which 19 are on oxygen support.
