On Friday, in view of the dip in cases, the Delhi government announced that the drivers traveling alone in cars will now be exempted from wearing masks.
While driving, wearing masks in Delhi was made compulsory by the AAP-led government through an official order that was issued in April 2020.
During a meeting to review the curbs, the Disaster Management Authority has taken the decision to withdraw this rule. Moreover, on Friday, the DDMA has also extended various other relaxations including school reopening, gyms, and a few more.
