Jaipur Gets ‘Bike Ambulances’ For Doorstep Delivery of Medicines To COVID-19 Patients

The Covid-19 patients, in Jaipur, can call 108 and avail the medicine services at their doorstep with the help of new facility, bike ambulance services. 25 bike ambulances have been set up police station-wise in the Jaipur city. Of the 9,881 new cases reported in the state on Thursday, 2,785 were in Jaipur. A total of 45,565 cases are currently under treatment in the state.
After a gap of six months, the Rajasthan government has once again imposed Sunday curfew amidst a surge in Covid-19 cases in the state.
The decision to reintroduce curbs on peoples’ movement from 11 pm on Saturdays till 5 am on Mondays was taken last week to stop the spread of the disease.
During the curfew period, all markets, workplaces and commercial complexes will remain closed, government guidelines stated. Only shops selling essential goods, petrol pumps and pharmacies are allowed to open.
