35 Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants under PM Cares dedicated on 7th October at AIIMS Rishikesh

On Thursday, during PM Modi’s visit to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Aiims) Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, 35 Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants established under PM CARES were dedicated, stated the statement by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The statement further added, “With this, all districts of the country will now have commissioned PSA Oxygen Plants. [The] Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion.”

“The project to commission a PSA oxygen plant in each district of the country was executed while dealing with complex challenges of hilly areas, islands and territories with difficult terrain,” the statement noted.

The statement further read that 7,000 personnel have been trained for the maintenance and operations of these plants.
