Earlier this week Suresh Chavhanke, editor in chief of Sudarashan News Channel, shared a promo titled “UPSC JIHAD”.
Since then it has been doing rounds on social media and people have expressed their opinion.
He promised to expose the big conspiracy regarding the infiltrated Muslims in government services which was supposed to be telecasted 28th August. However, it is on stay due to court orders.
But what has Amul got to do anything with this?
This show had Amul, the Uttar Pradesh government, Rajvaidya Hempushpa, and Sacchi Saheli among its sponsors. This triggered an outrage on twitter and many tagged Amul as “Islamophobic”. Since then #BoycottAmul has been treading. While #BoycottAmul is trending, #WeSupportAmul is also reaching to the top.
So far Amul hasn’t issued any official statement regarding this issue.
