The live stream proceedings of the Supreme Court began on Tuesday. This move to live stream the court proceedings gives a better idea of open court that stays accessible and transparent too. The cases that will be dealing with sensitive issues like matrimonial disputes or sexual assault should not be live streamed, said the top court.
Now, citizens will be bought into conversations that have stayed restricted toward judges, litigants, and lawyers. The cases consist of challenges to the constitutionality of job reservation for the economically weaker sections, and political crisis in Maharashtra.
