The students have been instructed by UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar to post selfies with the National flag on the website – www.harghartiranga.com. He also has said that the locations can also be pinned by the students on the website.
In India, schools, colleges, and educational institutions have been directed by the UGC to do flag hoisting on their premises after 9 a.m on August 15. Moreover, under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranage’ concept, the schools, colleges, and educational institutions are also asked to encourage students in displaying the flag on top of their houses to mark gratitude for freedom fighters as well as national heroes.
