On Monday, the Indian currency saw a fall of 64-paise against the dollar. This rupee fall has hit a fresh low. Against the dollar, the rupee ended up at 81.63. Within the day, the currency hit a low of 81.66 against the US dollar.
As of this year, the Indian currency has depreciated 8.9% against dollar. As the US dollar continued to strengthen itself, for the first time the Indian rupee went past the 81 mark.
The Chinese Yuan also saw a fall below 7.10 as against the dollar. On the other hand, on September 2022, the dollar rose by 0.88% to 111.61.
