It has been directed by the Bombay High Court to all the Universities to follow a uniform exam mode, thus giving a big relief to the university students. The state government has been directed by the Bombay HC to come to a decision and issue orders about the same to the universities. The decision will be taken by the government which needs to be followed by the State universities.
The court was hearing a petition filed by the students of Maharashtra for which the court has directed the universities to follow a uniform mode of exam as it was decided in a meeting conducted with the Education Minister as well as the University Vice Chancellors.
Some exams have already been conducted in the online mode by the Mumbai University while many other exams will be conducted in the offline mode.
There is a confusion created among the students as some universities are opting for descriptive questions while some universities are going ahead for Multiple-Choice Questions.
