Akasa Air will now be allowing passengers to carry their domesticated pet cats and dogs in the cargo compartment and the cabin as well. But, only pets up to 7 kg will be allowed inside the cabin. Animals with more than 7kg will be sent to the cargo compartment.
It is from October 15 that the airlines will begin bookings for pet animals for flights from November 1. Allowing two pets on the airline, one pet will be permitted in the passenger cabin and one pet will be allowed in the cargo compartment. The pet allowed to be in the cabin will be required to be in a crate and wear a muzzle.
