Amid the hike in CNG costs, it has been proposed by the school bus owners association to hike the fees of school buses by 10% after the festival of Diwali. A decision on this matter will be taken very soon.
This may be the second hike this year, as the first hike was seen in the month of June by 20%. If the school bus fees increase by 10%, then the monthly addition would be Rs.200.
With effect from October 1, the prices of CNG have been increased by Mahanagar Gas Limited by 40% by Rs.6 per kg by the government. Not just this, but pipelined natural gas has also witnessed an increase of Rs.6 per kg.
