The Maharashtra BJP party President in a convention announced that the Maharashtra BJP is going to hold 20,000 rallies against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, for its criminalization of politics in Maharashtra. In a meeting in Mumbai, he announced that the party will launch a line of protests against the current Maharashtra government. “Growing incidents of crime with political patronage of ruling parties,” said Chandrakant Patil the Maharashtra BJP leader.
Later while addressing the media, Patil said, “The party will deploy 20,000 teams to convene 20,000 rallies from next week. The purpose is to tell the people to expose the government, which is responsible for criminalization of politics.” Later he also added “Under the MVA regime, criminals are moving freely. There is no fear of law… Whether it is related to the exploitation of young Pooja Chavan, who died by suicide; or rape and molestation incidents in Aurangabad, or the mysterious death of Mansukh Hiren, horrible crimes have taken place in Maharashtra…,” he added.
After the Prime Minister’s famous speech where he said that there is a new species of people who he calls Andolanjeevi – who survive on protests; whereas the very same actions have been noticed by his own political party in Maharashtra.
