Reportedly, Gujarat’s Vadodara is all geared up to launch its drive which will penalise the street hawkers selling non-veg food openly. This direction will also be applied to those carts who sell food items made from eggs.
As per the local reports, Vadodara’s civic officials have been instructed to make sure that the food stalls are not selling non-veg food that is ‘visible’.
The carts and stalls must see to it that the meat is covered suitably.
Hitendra Patel, chairperson of Vadodara Municipal Corporation standing committee passed these instructions verbally.
