India is currently running world’s largest vaccination drive and running it for free at the Government hospitals. Amidst a drive so large, India has successfully vaccinated 40 crore individuals with at least one shot of the Covid-19 vaccine in the span of 6-7 months only.
Applauding this effort, the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi Ji called the vaccinated population as Baahubali!
On Monday, speaking ahead of the first Monsoon Session of the Parliament that has begun, PM Modi said, “I hope you all have got at least one dose of the vaccine. Vaccine is given in ‘bahu’ (arms), those who take it become ‘Bahubali’. So far more than 40 crore people have become Bahubali in the fight against coronavirus.”
Moving on from vaccination, PM Modi briefed about the Parliament session saying that the government is looking forward to a “disciplined” and “constructive” discussion over the coronavirus pandemic. Modiji also said that this discussion will be a priority and welcomed suggestions from all MPs to get more solutions.
“I would like to urge all the MPs and all the parties to ask the most difficult and sharpest questions in the Houses but should also allow the government to respond, in a disciplined environment. This will boost the democracy, strengthen people’s trust and improve pace of development,” he added.
