After talking about setting up a Film City in Noida in the month of September, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Mumbai. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister met with Famous Actor Akshay Kumar, on Tuesday, December 1, in Mumbai.

A picture of the Actor, having a intrigue conversation with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Adityanath has been shared on Twitter by Adityanath himself. It is said that the duo was busy discussing Abhishek Sharma’s upcoming movie “Ram Setu” that is heard to be revolving around the the story of the Ram Setu Bridge.

Visuals of Akshay arriving at Mumbai’s Trident Hotel had earlier been shared online. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath landed in Mumbai and straight away entered the hotel. He is heard to be stationed there until his stay in Mumbai. On Wednesday, he is expected to launch a Rs 200 crore Lucknow Municipal bond at the Bombay Stock Exchange. Meetings with other Bollywood personalities are also expected to take place.

An Official Statement said that, “The Chief Minister announced to set up the Biggest and the Most Beautiful Film City of the Country in Gautam Buddha Nagar, while addressing a review meeting. He instructed officials to search for a suitable land in or around Noida, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway and prepare an action plan.”

In September, Adityanath showed interest in building a new film city in Noida and rolled out an open offer to the film fraternity to come to the state for filmmaking.

“Uttar Pradesh has borders with seven states and one country. This is the cultural centre of the entire country. World’s oldest city Varanasi and Lord Ram’s birthplace Ayodhya, both are in the state,” Adityanath said.

“The new film city will be near the historic city of Hastinapur as the land identified is close to the city. Hastinapur has tremendous contribution in the history of our country. Film city will be between the holy rivers of Ganga and Yamuna,” he added.

Recently, while answering to Shivsena’s Sanjay Raut’s statement ‘Replicating Mumbai’s Film City Elsewhere is Impossible’, Adityanath said, “We are not snatching or hindering anyone’s investments. No one can take anything along. It is not like a purse that gets taken away. This is an open competition. One who can give a safe atmosphere, better facilities – and especially social security – in which one can work without discrimination will get investments,” he concluded.
