On Friday, the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has launched a website where the citizens can check on the availability of Covid beds. To do this, one needs to log in to https://www.covidbedthane.in/ to check the availability. Currently, the situation is worrisome and due to the rise in COVID cases, there is demand for hospital beds and this website makes it easier to check for the same.
As an individual gets logged into the website,they will be given two options that is to check ‘general beds availability’ and ‘request for bed’. Once the person clicks on ‘general bed availability’, he/she will be directed to another link which will consist details of beds that are available and occupied.
TMC has mentioned the names of hospitals along with the capacity of beds which are occupied and the ones which are vacant. It also gives an idea about ICU and non ICU beds available in the hospital.
