Tamil Nadu Private Schools asked to charge 75% Fees this academic year

With all schools physically shut since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country, Online Classes are on with schools charging full fees from the students.

Amidst this, the Tamil Nadu School Education Department has asked the private schools in the state to collect only 75% of fees.

After getting a lot of complaints from the parents about the private schools pressuring them to pay the entire fee for the academic year despite of the pandemic situation. 

Not only this by the Education Department also mentioned that the 40% fees can be collected in the first installment by August 31 and the rest 35% on the second installment within 2 months after the commencement of physical classes.

The TN School Education Commissioner K Nanthakumar also said that the decision on remaining 25% of the fee collection will be taken in the coming future seeing the circumstances.
