Maharashtra: On Saturday, Pune Municipal Corporation has issued fresh guidelines which will be effective from Monday, 28th June.
- Restaurants, food courts remain open with 50% seating capacity from Monday to Friday. Parcel and home delivery will be allowed on Saturday and Sunday.
- Social, religious and entertainment events will be allowed with 50 people between Monday to Friday.
- Gyms, salons, and spas will remain open till 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Wine shops will remain open from Monday to Friday till 4pm.
- Malls and theatres/multiplexes, religious places will stay CLOSED.
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has decided to impose fresh curbs in the city beginning from June 28 under ‘Level 3’ of the unlocking process amid the rising concern of the new Delta Plus Covid variant. Timings for shops selling essential and non-essential items will be reduced by 4 hours till 4pm. Malls, multiplexes and theatres will still stay shut. On Saturdays and Sundays, all the non-essential shops and establishments will remain shut.
Currently, the Covid variant ‘Delta Plus’ is a variant of concern. As a result, Nagpur District Disaster Management Authority (MDMA) has decided to clamp more restrictions for several activities by implementing curbs of level 3 in the city which will come into effect from today, June 28.
All the essential and non-essential shops will be allowed to operate till 4pm. Whereas, malls, theatres and multiplexes (allowed to operate with 50% capacity) will be closed. Marriages, gatherings including social, cultural and entertainment will be allowed with 50% capacity of the hall or 50 people , whichever is less, till 4 pm.
For funerals, maximum 20 people will be allowed. Salons, beauty care and wellness centres will be operating till 4pm. E-commerce services will be operating regularly.
The order released by the civic body has said that, “Inter-district travel either by private cars/taxis/buses is made regular except if moving to (areas under) level 5, wherein e-pass will be required. Religious places and swimming pools will also remain closed along with coaching classes.”
Maharashtra Health Minister, on Monday said that 21 cases of the Delta plus variant were found in the state. The districts having highest cases are Ratnagiri, Jalgaon, Mumbai, Palghar, Thane and Sindhudurg.
