After the Union Budget was announced on Tuesday morning, the oil marketing companies have announced a drop in the price of commercial LPG cylinders, bringing relief to the hoteliers. The price of a 19-kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs.91.50 from Rs.1948 to Rs.1857. In January, the prices had dropped by Rs.102.50 as well.
In 2021, towards the year-end, the hoteliers had complained about two big LPG price hikes. However, since October, the price of domestic LPG cylinders in Mumbai stays the same at Rs.899.50.
