On Saturday, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray said that he is not against any religion, however, Hanuman Chalisa will be played by his party men in front of the mosques if loud speakers are not removed by the state government.

Raj Thackeray had said that the MVA government in the Maharashtra should ban loudspeakers outside mosques immediately,

On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, Raj Thackeray addressed at Shivaji Park that “Why do you need loudspeakers outside mosques? Were there loudspeakers when the religion was founded. If the government does not remove these MNS workers will play Hanuman Chalisa.”

On Sunday, the MNS workers gathered outside their office at Sai Chowk and Hanuman Chalisa was played on loudspeakers. The slogan of “Jai Shri Ram” was also raised.
