The Ayodhya project is currently one of the biggest projects going on in the country but this one holds a special place as the construction has finally begun after a long awaited verdict of the land issue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was present at the ground breaking ceremony of the Ayodhya land has now spoken of plans to develop the land.
The Uttar Pradesh government officials made a presentation that included Ayodhya development aspects.
In relation to the various aspects of Ayodhya, PM Modi said that it is both spiritual and sublime. He also said that the human ethos of the city must be complemented by the futuristic infrastructure which will be beneficial to all plus tourists and pilgrims..
The Development Plan of Ayodhya:
- It is veering envisioned as a Spiritual Centre plus as a Global Tourism Hub as well as a Sustainable Smart City,
- To increase and improve connectivity to the city, the plans of an Airport, a Railway Station, a Bus Station as well as Roads and Highways were discussed,
- A Greenfield township was also a point of discussion,
- The Township includes:
Lodging Facilities for Devotees
Space for Ashrams, Maths, Hotels
Bhavans for various states
A Tourist facilitation centre
A Museum
- The developments around the Saryu river and its ghats are being given special attention
- Cruise operation on the Saryu river will also be made a regular feature
- Spaces for Cyclists and people on foot
- Smart City infrastructure will also look after the Traffic management in a modern way.
What did PM Modi say about Ayodhya City?
- He described the City that is ‘etched in the cultural consciousness of every Indian’
- “Ayodhya should manifest the finest of our traditions and the best of our developmental transformations”
- He said that the the desire to visit Ayodhya at least once a lifetime should be instilled in the coming generations
- “Development works of Ayodhya should be guided by a spirit of healthy public participation, especially by the youth”
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Ayodhya development will continue in the foreseeable future
- He expects people to collectively celebrate Ayodhya’s identity and keep its “cultural vibrancy alive through innovative ways”
The meeting was chaired by PM Modi and was held on June 26, Saturday. UP CM Shri Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy CM Shri Dinesh Sharma and various other ministers of the UP Government were present in the meeting, reported PIB.
