Revised guidelines have been announced by India for international passengers arriving in the country from February 14.
As per the new rules and apart from uploading the RT-PCR negative report, the passengers will also have the option to upload their full primary vaccination certificates.
Moreover, the remark of ‘at-risk’ countries has also been removed which means that the passengers from those countries will not have to provide their samples and wait for the results on arrival. A random sampling of 2% of international passengers from all countries will be conducted on their arrival. If the passenger is tested positive, then the sample will be sent for genomic testing at INSACOG laboratory.
