In Mumbai, the Girgaon Magistrate Court has convicted a man for showing his middle finger and screamed “f**k yourself bloody b***h” to the 66-year old woman and her son in an incident that took place in 2018. The magistrate court has said that the fundamental rights of the woman to live with dignity have been attacked.
The accused has been identified as 33-year-old Aniket Patil and has been found guilty of sexual harassment. He has been sentenced to 6-month simple imprisonment.
The court did not let the accused go off on bond of good behavior, instead, the magistrate said that he was grown up enough to know the consequences of what he had done.
