We found that his phone’s last location was in Noida on May 25. It was later switched off. We wrote to social media sites to provide Tiwari’s account details. During the investigation, we found Tiwari was in Madhya Pradesh.”
After a Week long search, MC Kode was found in Madhya Pradesh. The Indian Express reported Kode’s mother saying:
“I was informed by the SHO that he has been traced at a friend’s house. I think he must’ve tried to end his life but would have realised that this is not the route I should take, which is the right thing to happen. I also know that he is a sensible, mature person but he was really scared and he must have been in complete darkness…” Adding in, she said, “They put a bounty on his head, ordered lynching, they leaked our address, people reached the place. This means that no one is secure. I wish something is devised for abusive Twitter handles.”
