With Mental Health being a crucial part of our lives, celebrating the thoughts in our minds would be appreciated. It’s Mental Health Day on this Saturday, October 10 and ‘Samvad Counseling Centre’ and ‘‘Srujan’…’Creating an empowered you’’ In collaboration with ‘Unscripted Creation’ and ‘India News Net’ has arranged a little discussion on the same. 

Waking up every morning, ready to fight with the devils within, is itself a great achievement. But, a little pat on the back and some confidence boost surely helps! 

Speeches, Meetings and Lectures on Google Meet is a daily thing, but, a DISCUSSION with a PANEL of PSYCHOLOGISTS who will help solve your problems by CHATTING with you, is all you need in this Lockdown!

The program is named मनी वसे ते which literally means “What stays in your Mind!”

Why is this program taking place?

World Mental Health Day is celebrated on October 10 every year for raising awareness about the importance Mental Health should receive and how crucial it is to be mentally sound. मनी वसे ते is a one hour program that will discuss Mental Health-related topics that aims to craft wakefulness about the same and help people live a more satisfying life.

What will the program include?

  • What is mental health? How to cultivate it?
  • Which habits can be alarming for mental health and how to change them?
  • How to live a more fulfilling life?
  • How to break chains of fear and anxiety? 
  • How to understand intricacies of relationships and enrich them more?

Many more such psychological sanity intending questions plus the ones that are asked by the audience will be answered in the session.

Who is conducting the Program?

Psychologists! Yes, Psychologists! Those doctors we’ve hesitated visiting. Those people who we think treat only ‘PSYCHOS’. But no, these are people who help us ‘KNOW OURSELVES’, who help us get better, help us feel connected and satisfied with our lives and help us live a peaceful life with the most basic thing like Communication!
For the program set on Saturday, the panel we have is of:

1) Prof. Vedavati Paranjape-Surve

Industrial and Counseling Psychologist with over 8 years of experience. 

Prof. Vedanti’s areas of interests include Depression Counseling, Concerns of Teenagers and Young Adults, Pre-marriage Counseling, family relationships and parenting.

2) Ms. Mugdha Desai

She is a Clinical Psychologist and also the founder of Srujan who has been in the field of Teaching and Counseling for nearly 4 years. 

Anxiety Counseling, Emotional Management, Parenting and concerns of Teenagers are her areas of specialization.
