With the ever increasing cases in the state of Maharashtra, CM Uddhav Thackeray addressed to the residents of the state on Tuesday.
Though he announced no Lockdown, the CM has implemented section 144 in the state from April 14, 8 PM for the next 15 days.
Essential Details from the Address:
- ‘Break the Chain’ starts from April 14, 8PM.
- 144 announced in the state for the next 15 days till April 30.
- Interstate travel completely shut
- Only step out if necessary
- All public services CLOSED.
- Public Vehicles will only work for essential services.
- Medical staff, Government officials, Petrol pumps, cargo services, Journalists considered in essential services.
- All establishments, public places will remain closed except essential services.
- ONLY Essential services to operate from 7AM to 8PM.
- Street food vendors allowed to sell PACKED FOOD in the given time.
- “2 kg rice and 3 kg whear to be distributed free to the 7 crore registered individuals for the next 1 month,” CM Thackeray said.
- “Shiv Bhojan Thali to be distributed free of cost for the next 1 month for the needy,” CM announced.
- “35 Lakh deserving and registered individuals to receive Rs. 1000 before hand, Rs. 1500 to be given to the building related laborers, Rs. 500 to be given to trespassers (feri wale),” Thackeray.
