On Tuesday, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the tentative schedules for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and State School Certificate (SSC) examination.

Maharashtra HSC board examination will be held between April 29, 2021, and 20 May 2021, while Maharashtra SSC exam 2021 would be tentatively held from April 23 to May 21. Detailed schedule of Maharashtra board exam 2021 is available on the official website.

The timetable has been given for the information of the students and is not yet finalized. The Timetable is subject to changes based on situation.

“The probable schedule of written examination for April-May 2021 has been announced for the purpose of curriculum planning for schools / junior colleges and students as well as to reduce examination stress among students. Prior to the examination, the schedule given to the schools or junior colleges in printed form will be considered the final schedule. Examination dates should be ascertained from the printed schedule given to the students by the respective school or college. Examination schedules declared by any other website or social media platforms must not be considered true by the students,” said Ashok Bhosale, secretary, MSBSHSE.

The final timetable will be provided to schools and junior colleges in printed format before the examinations.

On January 21, 2021, Varsha Gaikwad, state school education minister had announced, “HSC (Class 12) board theory examinations in Maharashtra will be held from April 23 to May 29, 2021. While, SSC (Class 10) board exams will be held from April 29 to May 31, 2021 tentatively.” The minister further had also announced that all SSC and HSC board exams will be conducted offline in compliance with the central and state government Covid-19 rules and regulations.

“We have declared the tentative timetable to help students prepare well for the exams. A final timetable will be sent to the schools soon,” said the board in a release.
