Maharashtra has been the first state to be extremely hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and had the most number of active cases and deaths once. But, moving forward towards a better first place, last week, the state became the first in the country to fully vaccinate 1 crore+ individuals. But now, another record found its way to the state as it administered 800,000 people against the coronavirus disease on Monday.
Maharashtra minister and Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray declared the news on Monday evening.
Aaditya’s comments come at a time when quite a few districts in Maharashtra continue to struggle with a shortage of Covid-19 vaccine doses.
As per the data, 44,672,654 people have been vaccinated across the state. 33,440,863 out of those have received the first dose and the remaining 11,231,791 have been fully vaccinated.
