Passengers can now buy daily tickets to travel through local trains whether for single journeys or return journeys on the suburban railway network in Mumbai city or the surrounding cities.
On Sunday, the Maharashtra government has given permission to the Central and Western Railways to restart the issue of daily tickets on the suburban railway network for the ones who are FULLY VACCINATED and have completed 14 days period after the second dose.
Earlier, only the ones who were working in the essential services were allowed to buy daily tickets to travel in Mumbai local trains.
