Key Points:

  • The fight was a result of a Pandemic Bored person, Josh Swain’s fun message that was sent to all the individuals whose name was ‘JOSH’ in the country, on Facebook.
  • Hundreds showed up at Air Park in Lincoln _ a location chosen at random _ to participate in the absurdity.
  • The champion of that competition was a 4-year-old, who was crowned with a Burger King crown and a bedazzling belt. People also donated money to help Little Josh who has been fighting seizures.

With a pandemic taking over the world country by country and just negative news spreading all around, there’s one even that took place on Saturday in America’s Nebraska. The event, to be precise, the ‘Fight’, was named ‘Josh vs Josh vs Josh’.

So, what was the Fight about?

The fight was a result of a Pandemic Bored person, Josh Swain’s fun message that was sent to all the individuals whose name was ‘JOSH’ in the country, on Facebook. Swain is a 22-year-old college going student from Tucson, Arizona who happened to message people who shared the same name as his and challenged them for a fight that would take place a year later.

“You’re probably wondering why I’ve gathered you all here today,” the 22-year-old wrote.

“Because we all share the same names…?” another Josh Swain replied.

“Precisely, 4/24/2021, 12:00pm, meet at these coordinates (40.82232286 -96.7982002) we fight, whoever wins gets to keep the name, everyone else has to change their name, you have a year to prepare, good luck,” Swain had messaged hundreds of Josh.

Hundreds showed up at Air Park in Lincoln _ a location chosen at random _ to participate in the absurdity.

The Fight began with an excitedly righteous ‘Stone-Paper-Scissors’ battle between Josh Swain from Arizona (the host) and another Josh Swain from Omaha and the host won the title of the ‘One True Josh Swain’!

And guess what was the competition? A Pool-Noodle! For those of you unaware of the quirky name, Pool-Noodle is a cylindrical foam usually used as a float while swimming. It is nothing but a long fluffy stick which was used for fighting with each other at the ‘Josh vs Josh vs Josh’ event.

The champion of that competition was a 4-year-old, who was crowned with a Burger King crown and a bedazzling belt.

The fun game turned out to be quite helpful for Little Josh who has been fighting seizures since he turned 2. People donated money to help the little winner.

“I did not expect people to be as adamant about this as they are right now,” said the Host Josh being very surprised about how his boredom-hit fun turned out to be so huge.
