Even though the Western world is witnessing a surge in the Covid cases which is a cause of concern, it is unlikely for India to witness a similar trend.
This has been indicated in a detailed analysis by ‘Project: Jeevan Raksha’ which is a public-private initiative in providing insights on the pandemic handling.
A nationwide projection has been made by the initiative operated by Proxima consulting, wherein it says that India is estimated “to report 0.35 million new (Covid-19) cases between November 11 and December 10, only 2.3 per cent of the estimated 15 million global new Covid-19 cases.”
