On October 8, Air Force Day, a new camouflage uniform will be introduced for the personnel. At a parade in Chandigarh, the uniform will be unveiled by the Chief of the Air Staff. In January this year, the Army introduced a new digital pattern and the new uniform will be similar to it.
To mark Air Force Day, the participation of nearly 80 fighters, transport aircraft, and helicopters will be seen over Sukarna Lake in Chandigarh. On October 3, an indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopter named ‘Prachand’ was introduced and it will be making its first public appearance on Air Force Day in three aircraft formations.
