With effect from July 6, the national oil marketing companies have increased the cost of a 14.2kg cylinder by Rs.50.
With this new rate of domestic LPG cylinders, Delhi households will need to pay Rs.1,053, Mumbai households will have to pay Rs.1,052, Chennai households will have to pay Rs.1,068, and Kolkata households will have to pay Rs.1,079.
It was in the month of May, this year when the price of non-subsidized cylinders was raised for the first time by Rs.50 per refill, which was then followed by Rs.50 more on May 7.
On July 6, the oil companies brought down the price of a 19-kg cylinder by Rs.7 each.
