After Delhi saw a dip in the number of Covid cases, the administration has decided that the ones not wearing masks in public places will not be fined from now on. In April, amid the rising number of Covid cases, a fine of Rs.500 was imposed again for not putting on masks in public places.
In a meeting, it was decided to put an end to this restriction by the Delhi Disaster Management. In view of the festive season, the authorities have focused on the need to keep an eye on the Covid. On Tuesday, Delhi logged in 74 infections with a 1.07% positivity rate.
This year, India celebrates all festivals with great pomp and joy with a lesser threat of Covid!
