On Friday, the country saw a big jump in daily Covid cases as it recorded 17,336 fresh infections in a span of 24 hours. According to the Union Health Ministry Data, the total tally of the country’s cases has risen to 43,362,294.
The active caseload is at 88,284. In the last 24 hours, India recorded 13 new deaths. Moreover, it also reported 13,029 recoveries in 24 hours.
In a span of 24 hours, an increase of 4,294 cases has been recorded. According to the Ministry, the daily positivity rate stands at 4.32% whereas the weekly positivity rate stands at 3.07%. The states with the most active cases are Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadi, and Karnataka.
