Colleges in Maharashtra to reopen from February 1, vaccination mandatory: Uday Samant

Colleges in Maharashtra will reopen from February 1, 2022, for all students. The state government has announced that all colleges in Maharashtra would reopen for offline classes. The decision for college reopening has been announced by State Higher Technical Education Minister Uday Samant. 

Moreover, the minister has also tweeted that the colleges in Maharashtra can resume offline teaching from the given date. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray also accepted the proposal of allowing physical classes.

The colleges will resume not for all students but with some restrictions in place. Only fully vaccinated students will be allowed to come to the campus on the dates given by the colleges.
