For more than last 5 years, Amazon, Walmart-owned Flipkart and many other foreign-funded e-commerce companies have indulged into all kinds of unethical business practices with an objective of taking control of not only the e-commerce but even the retail business of India, said CAIT. The traders’ body further said that their sinister designs have greatly vitiated the e-commerce landscape of the Country. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on September 9 said that foreign-funded e-commerce companies were violating the e-commerce rules and unfavorably strike offline traders of the country while announcing a national campaign to protest against these practices. “Halla Bol”, the campaign will start from September 15 and will see participation from 100 trade leaders from across the country. The CAIT will send communication to all political parties of the country to illuminate their stand on e-commerce, during the campaign.
