Delhi High court has granted bail to a man in a case of suspected honeytrap, for which the court has said that in a consensual relationship, a person is not needed to check the Aadhaar card or the PAN card in order to verify the birth date of the person before having sex.
Last week, Justice Jasmeet Singh had said “The person, who is in a consensual physical relationship with another person, is not required to judicially scrutinize the date of birth of the other person. He is not required to see Aadhaar card, PAN card and verify the date of birth from her school record before he enters into a physical relationship.”
