The Central railways have announced to revert the platform ticket price from Rs50 to Rs.10. These prices will be applicable at Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CSMT), Dadar, LLT, Thane, Kalyan, and Panvel railway stations. This move has been taken due to the ease of Covid restrictions.
As per the Central Railway notification, “In light of the easing restrictions imposed due to Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided by the competent authority to revert the platform ticket price from Rs.50 to Rs.10 at CSMT, DR, LLT, TNA, KYN and PNVL stations with effect from 25 November.”
It added, “In view of the above, all concerned booking staff and supervisors are advised to acknowledge the changes and act accordingly.”
