In the Beed district of Maharashtra, a girl was allegedly raped by ‘400’ different people over a time period of 6 months. The minor girl was married off by the father after the mother’s demise. After getting married, the girl left the matrimonial house over being harassed.
The girl had gone to Ambejogai to find work wherein she was sexually assaulted by 400 people which also included a policeman. In Ambejogai, she was sexually assaulted by two people who had promised to give her a job. The minor girl is two months pregnant and the process to abort the fetus is underway by the Child Welfare Committee.
A case has been registered by the police based on the complaint lodged by the survivor. The police are investigating the case and 4 people have been taken under arrest.
