With the Entertainment industry working hard to keep its audience engaged and entertained, Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray interacted with quite a few of them out of concern.
On July 16, CM Thackeray spoke with several filmmakers and instructed them to strictly follow the Covid-19 rules laid by the Government of the state as it has not yet overcome the second wave of the pandemic.
The CM said, “We don’t like to impose sanctions on you, but there are still cases of corona infection in Maharashtra and some other states in the country. Even with the provision of protected bio-bubbles, some have been infected during sports competitions and events.”
The Chief Minister also said that the state is not completely out of the second wave and the third wave has already started hitting some parts of the world and will soon be in India if protocols aren’t taken care of.
While the overall Covid-19 graph is improving in Maharashtra, there are still 10 to 12 districts where the situation is worrying.
