On Tuesday, Maharashtra saw a rise in the Covid cases after seeing a massive drop on Monday. On Tuesday, 182 fresh cases were detected, whereas on Monday, 92 cases were reported. Tuesday saw double the number of cases than Monday. This took Maharashtra’s cumulative tally to 78,78,175.
On Monday, 56 cases were reported in Mumbai which took the number of fresh cases to 100. The overall tally of Mumbai has reached 10,59,148. The deaths and hospitalisations have been under control, however Maharashtra saw one death from Parbhani. For a third consecutive day, Mumbai city did not witness any fatalities.
The states’ active cases have risen to 1,027, however, it has dropped in Mumbai city to 637.
