On Sunday, Maharashtra did not report a single number of Covid death for the fourth time this month. On the other hand, Mumbai also has not reported a single Covid death for a whole week.
On Sunday, there was a continued decline in the Sars-Cov2 deaths and cases in Maharashtra and Mumbai. The state reported 251 cases, which was one of the lowest daily tallies to be logged from Maharashtra. The city logged 44 new cases and four hospitalizations.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region reported 81 cases out of 251 cases. In Maharashtra, the number of active cases has dropped to 2,524 and 345 in Mumbai.
