The budget session of the Maharashtra legislature will start from March 3 till March 25 in Mumbai. Maharashtra’s budget for 2022-23 will be tabled on March 11.
It was on Tuesday when the dates were finalized in a meeting of the business advisory committee of the representatives of all parties. The ones attending the session will have to provide a negative RT-PCR report as well as a status of double vaccination.
A discussion took place earlier to hold the budget session in Nagpur. However, due to lack of facilities such as no central hall for the governor’s address and MLA hostel is being used as Covid care centers.
Leader of the Opposition, Davendra Fadnavis said “Once again the anti-Vidarbha face of the government was exposed today. They merely announced after the winter session in December that the budget session will ve held in Nagpur, but they never intended to hold it there.”
