On Thursday, the state education board said that the students will appear for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) as well as Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams from their own schools and colleges. HSC exams will be held from March 4-30 and SSC exams will be held from March 15-April 4.
Sharad Gosavi, chairperson of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has said that the students will be far more comfortable in writing their papers. Moreover, there will be no external examiners for practicals, The exams will be conducted by the school teachers based on 40% of the practical syllabus.
HSC practicals will be conducted from February 14-March 3 and SSC practicals will be held from February 25-March 3.
