Following his announcement, Maanayata released a statement sharing an update about his health, and urged people to not “fall prey to speculations and unwarranted rumours.” Now after getting diagnosed with cancer,Sanjay today on 22nd October announced that he is “happy to come out victorious from this battle.” On the occasion of his kids’ birthday, Duty shared that he is elated to give the gift of “health and well-being of the family” to his children.On the work front, Sanjay finished up the shoot of YRF film Shamshera during his cancer treatment. He also has a scad of projects lined up for release, including KGF: Chapter 2, Bhuj: The Pride of India, Prithviraj and Torbaaz.

Sharing a heartfelt message on social media, the Bhoomi actor stated, “The last few weeks were very difficult for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kids’ birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can-the health and well-being of our family.” Sanjay Dutt thanked the doctors, nurses and the medical fraternity of Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital and stated “I am especially grateful to Dr. Sewanti and her team of doctors, nurses and the medical staff at Kokilaben Hospital who have taken such good care of me in the last few weeks. Humbled and grateful.”
