This lockdown has been testing our patience level throughout but hum Indians hai…jugaad kahi se kar hi Lete hai…just how we jumped from theatres to Netflix and Amazon prime..

OTT content has introduced us to another side of entertainment and has given us some hard hitting dialogues this year…here are some words to ponder upon..

 

1.  KUCH RISHTON ME LOGIC NAHI, SIRF MAGIC HOTA HAI.

From the movie Ludo, streaming on Netflix, this dialogue was said by Rajkumar Rao (Alok “Alu” Kumar Gupta) and we can probably say that it gave us a ‘Wow’ feeling about love when you know that somehow you are meant to be with your partner, but life has more surprises for you, and, you go with the flow with a little bit of expectations.

 

2.PANJE BAHAR NIKALO, SHERNI KI TARAH.

This dialogue is from the web series named Aarya, streaming on Hotstar specials, and the dialogue was said by Sikandar Kher (Daulat) which gave a reality check to every woman that she is extraordinary in every walk of life even when she is a mother. One of the most powerful and hard hitting dialogue from the webseries.

3. IF A MAN LIKES DOG, HE’S A GOOD MAN… IF A DOG LIKES MAN, HE’S A GOOD MAN…

This famous dialogue is from the very popular series named Pataal Lok. It had gone viral instantly because of its story and cast. This dialogue probably sums up a very quirky aspect of a human being. Also, Abhishek Banerjee did justice to his role of Hathoda Tyagi.

4. PEHLE DHANDA MARD SAMBHALTE THE, ABB BACHE NAHI.

Another iconic dialogue from Aarya, streaming on Hotstar specials, this dialogue was delivered by Sushmita Sen showing the bold side of her. This dialogue is just on another level and has a special place in our hearts.

 

5. JEB ME MONEY HO NAA TO KUNDLI ME SHANI HONE SE KOI FARAK NAHI PADTA.

Here is the very famous Scam 1992, streaming on Sony LIV, Pratik Gandhi has our hearts for all of his dialogues and he kept on delivering his 100 percent in the series. Just like in the series, this dialogue shows the reality of all the rich and elite class people having the advantage of their wealth. Also, Pratik Gandhi, tum bahot mast kaam karta hai!!!

 

6. YE BHI THIK HAI.

One of the best things that happened to us in 2020 was, Yaar Mirzapur Ka 2nd season aa gaya tha. This dialogue was said by one of the sweet character named ‘Robin’- Priyanshi Painuli. This year has brought such negative experiences that majority of our moods were like “Ye bhi thik hai”.

 

7. PEEDA SE BADA SHIKSHAK AUR KOI NAHI HAI.

Another gem of OTT web series is Asur, streaming on Voot. This dialogue was delivered by Barun Sobti and gave us a piece of advice that it’s your problems that show you your strengths. It’s your challenges that makes you grow in life and that’s why “Peeda se bada shikshak aur koi Nahi”.

 

8. HELLO FUTURE WIFE.

One heartwarming love story of Rishi and Dimple is that of Mismatched and the very famous dialogue was given by the current sensation and national male crush, Rohit Saraf. This dialogue invoked an expectation in every female’s heart to be asked at least once by the one she loves. Every girl right now : Yaar kaash Dimple ki jagah Mai hoti🥺

 

9. YE TERI JAGAH HAI, YAHA BAITH KAR PADHNA…SUNLIGHT NAHI HAI TOH KYA HUA..TU APNE TALENT SE CHAMAKNA.

One of the underrated web show was Serious Men, and the dialogue was delivered by the very brilliant Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The setting shown in the web show was that of a lower middle class family, and, in such a situation, building such kind of confidence for women was on another level altogether.

 

10. KAM PAISE ME KHUSH REHNA DIFFICULT HAI…PAR ZYADE ME IMPOSSIBLE.

Another reality check from the web show named Ludo, streaming on Netflix, where the dialogue delivery was done by the handsome Aditya Roy Kapoor. It gave all of us a thought to ponder upon and does this dialogue even need an explanation?? It’s already self-explanatory!!
